Julian’s first football club was Madjoe (now Fortius) from Amsterdam East. Then CTO’70 and Tos Actief where he played football with many friends. After 3 years of playing football at Tos-Actief, Julian’s football talent quickly caught my eye. At the age of 11 he was picked up by the Ajax scouts. In a class with Mario Melchiot, Dennis Schulp, Kiki Musampa and Nordin Wooter and many others he started his academy. Julian felt like a fish in water. Championship after championship was won. After 7 years of Ajax, Julian wanted to make the step to professional football. Haarlem was the next step. Julian played football for 3 years at FC Haarlem. There he learned what it means to be a professional, but also that playing fun is very important. Partly because he called it quits at FC Haarlem and he went back to the amateurs of USV Holland (Utrecht). At Austria Lustenau Julian tried one more time to make the step to the pros, but due to injuries and homesickness he returned after 1 season in Austria. At the amateurs of FC Lisse, where he played football with Robert Hoever and Jerrel Linger, Julian found the fun again. After 3 years FC Lisse, Julian looked closer to home. Turkiyemspor, FC Voorland and ASV Dijk were his last clubs where he played football at a good amateur level.
After retiring as an active football player, Julian is involved in coaching young football talent. With his experience he has gained over the years, he tries to show footballers that development as a person is just as important as a football player .[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section][vc_row type_row=”advisor2″ ses_title=”Our Team” el_class=”all-staff”][vc_column width=”1/3″ type=”column”]
